This page follows the /ai manifesto: a plain statement of where generative AI is used, so you can decide how much to trust what you read.

The site is built with AI

Most of this site was made by AI. I use Claude Code (Anthropic's Claude models) to write and maintain the code: the Astro pages, layouts, components, Tailwind styles, build scripts, GitHub Actions workflows, the SEO audit, and the style guide. I describe what I want, review the pull requests, and merge them. The repository is public on GitHub, and the commit history shows which changes came from AI sessions.

The writing is mine

I write my blog posts, publication abstracts, and the descriptions of my research, awards, and experience myself. AI does not draft them, and I don't publish AI-generated text as my own thinking.

Where the line gets blurry

• Site copy such as page intros, meta descriptions, and UI labels may be drafted or edited by AI, and I review it.
• Generated images, such as social cards and blog covers, come from scripts in the repository.
• Content that is only formatted, structured, or checked by AI (typo fixes, frontmatter, links) is still my writing.

I review what ships, and mistakes are mine. If you spot an error, tell me.
